One-Pan Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients

  • ½ bag Just Bare Oven Roasted Bites Original
  • 6 ounces uncooked penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 3/4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 3/4 cups fat-free milk
  • 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add chicken to the hot skillet and brown on all sides for 2 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for one minute.
  3. Add chicken broth, milk, flour, onion powder, basil, parsley, broccoli, and uncooked pasta to pan and stir well to combine.
  4. Bring to a gentle boil, then cover and reduce heat to a simmer.
  5. Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring once or twice during this time.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in freshly grated parmesan cheese.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
