Baked Chicken with a BBQ Glaze for a Crowd

Ingredients

  • Chicken Ingredients:
  • Marinade/Glaze Ingredients:
    • 2 cup White vinegar
    • 1 cup veg oil
    • ½ cup Worcestershire Sauce
    • 2 tbsp Kosher salt
    • 2 tbsp Sugar
    • 2 tsp Garlic powder
    • 2 tsp Onion powder
    • 2 tsp White pepper
    • 1 tsp Celery salt

Instructions

Preparation:

  1. Combine all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl
  2. Reserve half for glazing chicken during cooking process
  3. Place the other half in a 1 gallon zip lock bag for marinating

Chicken Preparation:

  1. Place Just Bare® Drumsticks and Chicken Thighs in a ziploc bag with marinade and store in the fridge for at least 2 hours, up to 6 hours Discard marinade when done.
  2. A charcoal grill is the ideal method of cooking – with the chicken be turned every 7 – 8 minutes and basted with the reserved glaze each time turned.
  3. Once the chicken is no longer pink by the bone, juices run clear or thermometer reads 165 degrees
  4. A 400 degree preheated oven with a wire roasting rack will work in replacement of a grill.
